Active Shooter Responder 3 Day or 5 Day Course
Prior to your attendance at the Active Shooter Response Training Center, we ask that you sign our Waiver and Non-Disclosure Agreement. This waiver is good for all activities at the ASR Training Center AND Centennial Gun Club.
This waiver needs to be completed only once.

Instructor Bio: Jimmy spent over 15 years in the US Navy SEAL Teams earning the rank of Chief Petty Officer (E7). During that time he earned Certifications as a Range Safety Officer for Live Fire, Dynamic Movement and Master Training Specialist. Jimmy also served for 7 years as an Operator and Lead Instructor for an Elite Federal Government Protective Detail for High Risk environments. During this time he earned his certification for FIDC Federal Firearms Instructor Development Course, Simunition Scenario Qualified Instructor and Facilitation Skills Workshop. Jimmy has trained Law Enforcement on the Federal, State, and Local level and has traveled nationally training communities in order to enhance their level of readiness in response to Active Shooter Situations.
Jimmy is currently the owner and Lead Instructor for Duty To Act, LLC. Defense Consulting and is subcontracting with CGC as Contract Consultant and Lead Instructor for Corporate Security Training.

Course Description: This 3 or 5 Day course is specifically designed for those with an interest in developing the team skills necessary to effectively respond to an Active Shooter Situation.
The curriculum will be presented over 5 days, those choosing to partake in the 3 Day training will complete training on Wednesday while those choosing the 5 Day option will continue on with Live-Fire training, AR Tactical skills, and a Final Training Exercise (FTX) on Friday. Students in 3 Day course can choose at any time to continue on to 5 Day if desired.
Presents skills and response capabilities with Pistols (for 3 Day) and adds AR platforms (for 5 Day).
Skills will be presented as a demonstration, explanation, and progression through various skills and shooting postures and will culminate on Day 3/Day 5 with training scenarios calling upon all learned skills.
Active Shooter Responder 3 and 5 Day Courses qualify as prerequisites to participate in future ASR Sustainment Tactical Trainings
Introduction: Instructor/CQD/ASRTC Unarmed Foundation Demo and Discussion Armed Foundation Demo and Discussion Safety and Marksmanship Introduction to Simunition Training Rounds
Objective 1: Student will demonstrate safety with a pistol and recite 3 primary safety rules.
Objective 2: Student will demonstrate appropriate unarmed defense posture and striking skills.
Objective 3: Student will demonstrate appropriate armed presentation and tactical movement techniques.
Objective 4: Student will demonstrate appropriate Tactical Team Movement and Coverage techniques.
Objective 5: Student will demonstrate how to effectively function as a team against live adversaries (real people) firing non-lethal Simunition training munitions while appropriately neutralizing active threats and defending innocent lives. Introduction:Instructor/CQD/ASRTC
DAY 1 Course of Instruction will provide training and drills on; • Introduction to the CQD system • Building an individual foundation for offense and defense • De-escalatio techniques • Unarmed Defense skills. Team Member will demonstrate in a live scenario the ability to deescalate a situation, a proper offensive and defensive posture and the ability to strike effectively and quicklydepart from a violent situation.
DAY 2 Course of Instruction will provide training and drills on: • Introduction to Pistol Safety • Marksmanship • Armed Responsibility Team Member will demonstrate in a live scenario the ability to safely handle a firearm, the ability to load, unload, and reload a pistol, and when to shoot or not shoot a live adversary. (Non Lethal training rounds will be used to simulate a realworld stimulus and student will provide the appropriate response as instructed).
DAY 3 Course of Instruction will provide training and drills on: Hardening Your Facility Tactical Movement (moving with a firearm). Team Movement Team Coverage Zones of Responsibility Team Member will demonstrate safe movement alone or with another Team Member and appropriately engage adversaries utilizing learned Armed or Unarmed skills in validation scenarios against real people.
DAY 4 Course of Instruction will provide training and drills on: • Situational Awareness • Live Fire Safety • Marksmanship • Introduction to Shooting Standard. Team Member will demonstrate Safe Firearms Handling and Marksmanship in a Live Fire Range with real firearms.
DAY 5 Course of Instruction will provide training and drills on: • Tactical Movement (cont’d) Suspect Control (Restraint devices, ‘cuffing’) • Live Fire Pistol proficiency • Responsible Judgment Regarding Shoot/NoShoot situations. Team Member will demonstrate the ability to successfully complete the Live Fire Shooting Standard and will complete a Final Training Exercise (FTX) where they demonstrate the ability to effectively enter a space with a teammate and defend other team personnel against aggressors.
Materials provided by the instructor: All gear, guns, ammo, and safety equipment provided. (May bring own AR for Day 2, or use ours)
Materials provided by the student: Please wear good shoes/boots that you can move quickly in and a good belt that can accommodate a holster. Advised to bring a water bottle as water fountains are in training area. May bring own Pistol for Live Fire Day or use ours. Holster must be approved by Instructor Staff.
Prerequisites: All students receiving Tactical Training must be able to pass a basic background check.

Substitutions of attendee may be made at any time. Attendees must cancel at least 72 hours prior to the course date to receive a full refund less a $15 administrative fee. For cancellations received within 48 hours of the course date no cash refunds will be provided. Instead, a one-time class rescheduling can be made. A rescheduled course must occur within 12 months from original course date. If a course has not been attended within the 12 month period all course fees are forfeited by the participant. Failure to attend the course or cancellations less than 48 hours notification will result in no refund or credit of the course fee or rescheduling. The Centennial Gun Club reserves the right to cancel or reschedule seminars at any time. IF we cancel or reschedule the seminar due to weather or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, you are entitled to a full refund. The Centennial Gun Club is not responsible for travel arrangements, travel fees, or any expenses incurred by you as a result of such cancellation. IF The Centennial Gun Club cancels a seminar in which you are enrolled, you will be contacted at the email address you provided when registering, so please be sure to provide a valid email address and check your-email prior to attending class.
